Purpose of the Prayer Box

  • Pray for one another's physical and spiritual needs

  • Help bring awareness to people about God

  • Show compassion to our neighbors

  • Increase prayer in our city...leading to city
    transformation

  • Help understand how to pray for our city

  • Discipleship, Prayer Groups, Bible studies will begin

  • That people would come to know Jesus Christ as their
    personal Savior.
"I urge then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and
thanksgiving be made for everyone; for Kings and all those in
authority, that we may live peaceful and quite lives in all godliness
and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants
all men to be saved and come to a knowledge of Him."
What is a Prayer Box?

  • A mailbox designated to accept prayer requests

  • Posted at a location near you;                           
    (church, business, navy ship, or other designated site)

  • Fully stocked with prayer request forms

  • Checked once a week by prayer leader and business
    owner. Prayer team then prays for all requests.
