Can anyone display a Prayer Box?

| Do they have a desire to see increased prayer in their city? | |
| Will they consider opening up their store once a week for | |
| a prayer meeting? | ||
| Do they see the bigger spiritual picture of the city as Jesus | |
| does? | ||
| Are they excited to see what the Lord will do through the | |
| Prayer Box? | ||
| Even is someone of the above objectives are not met; this | |
| does not mean they will not get a Prayer Box. We have to lead by the Holy Spirit for discernment in this area. |
Who Maintains the Prayer Box?
| The Prayer Box is to be maintained in a coordinated effort | |
| between the prayer leader and business owner | ||
| This includes, restocking prayer requests, weekly, | |
| cleaning, graffiti removed and replacing pens when necessary. | ||
| The things need to be done a weekly basis. | |
| Antioch Ministries will get you started with your supplies | |
| and support you, but the goal is for the prayer leased and business owner to take ownership in this. |
How do you pray for the requests ?

| You take one prayer requests at a time. Allow someone | |
| in the group to begin praying for the requests and others to join in. | ||
| Then you move to the next prayer requests and so on until | |
| you have prayed for each of the requests. | ||
| It is good when you pray that others join in on the specific | |
| requests. This way the prayer requests is covered in much prayer | ||
| Keep prayers short, simple and specific. The best prayer | |
| meetings are when everyone is praying in one accord with one another. Prayers should remain in the Spirit while considerate of others in timing. | ||
| Sometimes you will get off the wall prayers- go ahead and | |
| prayer for them and ask the Lord to show you how to pray for this person. It took a step of faith just to put a prayer request in and we need to discern how to pray for this person. | ||
| If people leave their phone or email, feel free and call them | |
| back. Make sure men talk with men and women with women. If you don’t feel comfortable then have someone else call back. Don’t leave your personal phone number or address. The best thing to do is to refer them to one of the Bible Studies. |
